To Be Read Pile

I have read most of my books that I have at the moment and I really want to read the two books that I have got left to read. I have not been able to read the two books as have not had time to actually sit down and grab a book in the last couple of mouths. I have been busy with my college work as you may or may not know I am in my last year of doing my course. So I hope you understand when I say that I am very sorry for not posting a review or haul video for a good couple of months. Anyways let’s get on with the to be read pile;

Bumped by Megan McCafferty

I have heard a lot of good reviews of this book so this is the book that I when I have free time would read first. I know that this is very bad but I brought this book month ago but for some reason or another I was not gravitated towards this book, but when I heard that the author was doing another book in the bumped series then it got me intrigued again. So I want to read the book before the other book comes out. I will check this book out soon. If you have read this book please tell me what you felt about this book, but please no spoilers.

An Abundance of Katherines By John Green

I am also very excited to read this book. I know that without a dought I am going to love reading this book. My younger sister was bored one day and asked me if she could read this book and of course I said yes. She then got back to me the next day saying that the book was amazing. She said she could not put it down, and that she would love to read the other books by John Green. So I cannot wait to sit back, relax and get into the book.

I hope you liked my blog and it would be awesome if you followed me and also give me great book names for me to get my hands on next.

In the blink of an eye everything changes. Seventeen-year-old Mia has no memory of the accident; she can only recall what happened afterwards, watching her own damaged body being taken from the wreck. Little by little she struggles to put together the pieces - to figure out what she has lost, what she has left, and the very difficult choice she must make. Heart-wrenchingly beautiful, Mia's story will stay with you for a long, long time
My Views and opinions
This book as really touched me in a way that a book as ever touched me before.  This is a story about Mia, she has had an accident which leads her to be in a state of coma in the hospital. While she is in this state she is evaluating her life to see whether she should stay in her body and continue her life, or if she should just let her sprit go. We look into Mia’s past and see her life before the accident and how different her life outcome had become after the horrible accident. While I started reading this book it never once made me once put the book down as a reason of boredom but instead I had to put the book down couple of times just to take in my emotions and stop basically to stop my tears flowing.
Mia lived a happy and fulfilling life for a girl of her age. She has a great relationship with her family and also a loving relationship with her boyfriend she couldn’t have had asked for more. Throughout the book the story is told from Mia’s perspective while she is having an out-of body experience and she lets us on a journey into her past and ultimately her dictions for the future.
This book exposed me to my deep inner emotions and had no trouble letting me have a tearful moment. I cannot recommend this book enough and hope that if you haven’t read this book yet then to read this book and go through an emotional reading experience that you would never forget.
My Rating
5/5 stars

The Replacement By Brennda Yovenoff

The Replacement by Brennda Yovenoff

(US Cover)
I know that this review is late but I just recently got a hold of this book. Although it’s better late than never though right? Hope you enjoy reading this review.
The Replacement is a story about Mackie Doyle. Mackie is a replacement, a replacement is where a human baby is taken away from their cribs and in its place a supernatural baby is put in its place. For sixteen years, Mackie has found that living in our world has been proving him difficult. This is because he is allergic to blood, iron and consecrated grounds. Having contact with what he is allergic to leads him to have an anaphylactic shock. But he continues to carry on and live on with his life even if it means that he tries to blend in the background and not get involved in social activities.
Tate is a girl at his school, whose baby sister died. After the incident Tate has become mysterious after her sister’s death. Mackie finds that he spends most time with Tate.
I found that the characters in the book to be amazing. They are a very strong individual especially Mackie and Tate. While they are out in different situations they show their courage and dedication. I really liked Mackie’s character because for me it was something different. You don’t know or have a clue before reading what sort of supernatural creature he is, so I feel that, that aspect has helped drew me into the book in the first place. I am so happy that I read the book because I felt very pleased with the story line and how the book took me through an experience that does not evolve the typical YA story. I felt that Tate’s character was very strong and when I say that I really do mean it.  I can honestly say that Tate is one of the strongest female in the book and I looked that. In some YA book you do see that the male character is more dominant in a book but I felt that in the book Tate was stronger and dominant which was refreshing to read.
I highly recommend this book because of the concept of the book as well has how the book was written by Brenda Yovenoff. I loved her writing style in this book so definitely two thumbs up.  If you love reading YA books like me and want something that is going to be a fast paced read, as well as a book that is different to the rest of the other books. Then I definitely advise you to read this book and give this book a chance.
My Rating
I give this book a 5/5 stars.

My thoughts on the book
To be honest with you I really did not enjoy reading this book. This was because of many factors like the plot line. I thought the plot line was too confusing and after I read the book I did not get what happened through the most of the book. As well as the fact of the actual story line, it was to dark and uncomfortable. I am the kind of person that loves thriller, suspense and crime but I think that that this book was too much for my liking. This book is a psychological thriller so it is bound to stretch your brains and get to you. But still...
Also I would to add that the characters I felt where off putting and unrelatable as well as the main character, rose “I mean come on!.  The character Dalziel was just odd and creepy and to be honest a bit psychotic (I’ll try not to spoil it for you). Too much things where going on so my brain where trying to get though one bit and then BHAM!! Another thing is going on.
When I was reading the book I did not even go half way through, but I put the book down and read other books because it was REALLY stressing me out. But then after a couple of day later i decided to finish of this book. And when I did was like WHAT JUST HAPPENED.
I’ll give the book 2 out Of 5 stars because I think that if the plot was better or less confusing then I would have rated the book higher than 2 stars.
Other people might like this book. I am not implying that no one is going to write this book or that Clair Sheeber is a bad author ,she is not it’s just that” I don’t think I like physiological movies never mind books”. Give the book a go and tell me what you think of the book
